Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB)

The Canada Recovery Benefit replaces the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) that ended September 29, 2020.

This benefit is for the unemployed because of Covid-19 and that do not qualify for Employment Insurance (EI).

Look carefully through the information at the link below to see who can apply. You need to to apply for every eligible period. The payments does not automatically continue after your first payment.

2. Call 1-800-959-2019 or 1-800-959-2041

3. Ensure you have the following information ready before you call:

  • your social insurance number (SIN)
  • postal code
  • date of birth
